Empowering Student Volunteers: First Aid & Emergency Response Workshop for Medical Volunteer Teams
- As part of its continuous commitment to supporting and training volunteer cadres, and in recognition of the importance of preparing students to effectively assist those in need, the Volunteer Management Department organized a specialized training workshop for its core volunteer teams, with a particular focus on the Medical Committee responsible for medical convoys and health campaigns.
The workshop covered essential first aid and emergency response skills, aiming to enhance the readiness and efficiency of student volunteers in critical situations.
The department extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Faculty of Nursing, represented by Prof. Dr. Sahar Abdel Rady El-Khashab, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, as well as the faculty members for their continuous support and for providing access to well-equipped laboratories and training facilities. Special thanks are also extended to the teaching assistants for their valuable contribution and dedication in delivering the workshop in the best possible manner.
Additionally, the Volunteer Management Department was pleased to host Mr. Ahmed Adham, who contributed to the workshop as a guest trainer, in support of developing and empowering student volunteers within the department.
