Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) Program

Excellence in technology depends on qualified professionals. Our program equips students with programming, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to excel in software development, AI, cybersecurity, and data science.
The duration of study in the program is five academic years (five levels over ten semesters) according to the credit hours system, followed by a compulsory internship year (Residency Year).

Program Structure

The program provides a balanced combination of university requirements, medical sciences, and specialized pharmacy and clinical pharmacy education.

Specialized Compulsory Courses

53 courses — 144 credit hours.

Medical Courses

7 courses — 12 credit hours.

Non-Professional Courses

10 courses — 14 credit hours.

Elective Courses

4 courses — 8 credit hours.

University Requirements Courses

3 courses — 6 credit hours

Degree Requirements

To be awarded the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree, students must fulfill the following requirements:

Initial Field Training

Successfully complete an Initial Field Training program consisting of 100 contact training hours in community pharmacies, governmental pharmacies, or hospital pharmacies approved by the Faculty Council. The training is conducted under the supervision of a faculty member during the summer vacations following the completion of the third academic level.

Compulsory Internship Program

To obtain a license to practice the pharmacy profession, graduates must successfully complete the compulsory internship program (Residency Year) in accordance with the regulations governing the internship program and pass the Pharmacy Practice Licensure Examination.
