Innovation University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Zagazig University Hospitals to Advance Practical Training for FCIT Students
As part of its commitment to strengthening academic collaboration and promoting practical education, Innovation University has signed a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology (FCIT) and Zagazig University Hospitals.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Mahmoud Mostafa Taha, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board at Zagazig University, and Prof. Lamia El Refaie, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology at Innovation University.
The partnership aims to enhance cooperation in practical training and scientific knowledge exchange while providing FCIT students with valuable training opportunities at Zagazig University Hospitals in the fields of digital transformation, health information systems, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. The initiative is designed to strengthen students’ technical and practical skills while bridging academic learning with the evolving demands of the job market.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Amal Atta, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hafeez, Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, Innovation University; Dr. Mohamed El-Tahlawy, Professor of Cardiology and Director of the Projects, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Unit; Dr. Omar Khoshba, Lecturer of Interventional Radiology; and Mr. Ahmed Youssef, General Manager of the Faculty.
This agreement reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to supporting high-quality education, strengthening collaboration between academia and the healthcare sector, and preparing highly qualified graduates in the field of computing and information technology with the practical experience and technical expertise needed to meet the highest professional and quality standards.
