• In support of student innovation and technology-driven learning, Innovation University and the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology proudly celebrate the participation of Ehyāa – إحياء, a student team representing the Faculty and the University at the Computing & AI Innovation Hackathon 2026, held at Kafrelsheikh University on August 8, 2026.

The team successfully advanced to the Final Stage after passing two qualifying rounds, securing a place among 43 teams that reached the final stage of the competition.

The team was represented by Saif Eldein – Team Leader, Sohaila Wael, Etemad Wael, and Ahmed Anter, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Sayed Salama.

During the final day, the team presented and discussed its project before the evaluation committee, providing an opportunity to showcase their innovative idea and demonstrate the work developed throughout the hackathon stages.

Under the title “AI-Powered Smart Medication Management System,” Ehyāa’s project aims to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to develop smart solutions for medication management.

At the conclusion of their participation, the team received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of reaching the Final Stage of the hackathon.

The Ehyāa team extends its sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Lamia El-Refai, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, for her continuous support and encouragement of students to participate in technology-focused competitions and events, and to proudly represent the Faculty and Innovation University.

The team also extends its gratitude to Kafrelsheikh University, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and the National Committee for Artificial Intelligence Sciences for organizing the event and providing students with this valuable opportunity to learn, innovate, and compete at a national level.
