Prof. Dr. Mohamed Helmy, University Provost and Vice President of Innovation University, has a distinguished career in medicine and higher education leadership.
He earned his MB, BCH with Excellent Degree with Honour (1980), MS in General Surgery (1984), and MD in General Surgery (1987), all from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.
Dr. Helmy has held prominent academic and leadership roles, including Minister of Higher Education Consultant for the private university sector, Consultant at the German University in Cairo, and Member of the Supreme Council of Governmental Universities in Egypt.
He also served as Acting Secretary General of the Supreme Council of National Universities and Vice President of Nahda University, before becoming Provost of Innovation University in October 2024.
