Admission Requirements
General Requirements (for all Certificates)
- Birth certificate or certified original. For non-Egyptians, the birth certificate must be stamped by their Embassy then by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in case it wasn’t stamped from their country.
- Copy of National ID
- 6 passport-size photos
- Military Service Form “Namozag 2-3 Gond” (Egyptian males only)
- Copy of passport and an “Approval Letter” for joining the University issued by the Embassy they are related to (for foreigners only)
- Any Arab certificate holder has to bring “Movement certificate” “شهاده تحركات”from the General Department of Passports, Immigration and Nationality in Egypt.
Foreign Certificates
- Proof of 12 years of schooling which can be either:
- 3rd Preparatory (Idadia) + enrollment letter from the school with the following 3 years stamped from the school and the Educational Zone.
- 6th Primary (Ibtedaaya) + enrollment letter from the school with the following 6 years stamped from school and the Educational Zone.
- Enrollment letter of 12 years of schooling stamped from school and the Educational Zone in case of spending 12 years in the international system.
- In case holding an academic year(s) from national system in Egypt; official certificate from the Educational Zone should be submitted not enrollment letter.
- Proof of schooling from Arab countries must be stamped by the school, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country and the Egyptian Embassy in the foreign country.
- Foreign certificate holders from Egypt must submit proof stamped from the General Department of Examinations of passing Th. Amma exams for (Arabic, Religion and National subjects- المواد التكميلية).
IB Students
Eligible Subjects for Engineering Colleges
Maths (A-Level) Physics (A-Level) English or its Language Arts 3 complementary subjects Arabic language is considered one of the original subjects
Passing score: 24\45
In addition to Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay Test
IGCSE Required Documents
- IGCSE slips, stamped by the British Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Department of Examinations.
- IGCSE holders from outside Egypt with a C grade in their O Levels must get a letter from the British Council stating that these courses are extended not core.
- IGCSE holders from outside Egypt must have their slips stamped by
- Admission requirements for engineering sector colleges for students with IGCSE. 8 OL materials English- Math- Physics- Biology- Chemistry In addition to 3 supplementary materials AS Math+the British Council, the Egyptian Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the country related.

American Diploma Required Documents
General Requirements (for all Certificates)
- An official transcript with grades 10, 11, and 12, stamped from the NCA-CASI or NAAS, the school and the General Department of Examinations in Egypt.
- If Grades 10, 11 and 12 are from different schools, separate transcripts are required for each grade.
- The Diploma must be stamped by the NCA-CASI or NAAS, the school and the General Department of Examinations in Egypt.
- A copy of the school’s accreditation from the Private Education department at the Ministry of Education.
- Official SAT-1 stamped from the AMIDEAST and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or official ACT 1 / EST 1 stamped from the General Department of Examinations in Egypt.
- SAT-II / ACT 2 / EST 2 is considered a bonus for the student when calculating his/her final percentage grade; official SAT-II stamped from the AMIDEAST and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required if it will be included in the calculation or official ACT 2 / EST 2 stamped from the General Department of Examinations in Egypt.
- American Diploma holders from schools located outside Egypt must get the school’s “Accreditation Letter” from AMIDEAST.
- American Diploma holders from the USA must have their certificates and proof of 12 years of schooling stamped from the cultural attaché of Egypt in Washington and the school.
- American Diploma holders from Arab countries must have their certificates stamped from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country and the Egyptian Embassy.
Canadian Diploma Students

Tuition Fees for Egyptian Students – Academic Year 2025/2026

Special Incentives and Scholarship Program for the Academic Year 2025/2026
First: General Incentives
A 5% tuition incentive is granted for each of the following cases:
- Students from Sharqia Governorate, students who have lost their family breadwinner, and siblings enrolled at the university.
- Students registered through educational fairs under agreement with the university.
- Students who graduated from schools partnered with the university.
- Students applying for early admission (up to the end of July 2025).
Second: Athletic Excellence Incentives
- A 5% tuition incentive for students who have achieved one of the top three positions at the governorate or national level.
- A 30% tuition incentive for students who have achieved one of the top three positions in African or international sports competitions.
Third: Academic Excellence Incentives
- A 10% tuition incentive for students with a total score of 80% or higher.
- A 5% tuition incentive for students with a total score from 70% to less than 80%.
- A 90% tuition incentive is awarded to:
Students on the Top 100 national list. - 5 students from the top achievers of the national General Secondary Certificate (Thanaweya Amma).
- 5 students from top achievers in the IGCSE and American Diploma systems.
- 5 students from top achievers in STEM schools.
The academic score is calculated for all national and equivalent secondary certificates, whether Arab or international.
Fourth: Social Incentives
Social incentives are granted annually to 10 students, based on a comprehensive social assessment and field study, conducted in accordance with specific regulations set by the university administration. These incentives continue throughout the study period as long as eligibility is maintained.
Important Notes
- Students are allowed to combine multiple incentives up to a maximum of 15% of total tuition fees, except in cases approved by special resolution from the university administration.
- This limitation does not apply to students who qualify for the academic or athletic excellence incentives mentioned above.
